Directions FROM PITTSBURGH: (2-1/2 hours) PA TURNPIKE: to Bedford (Exit 11) , Rt. 30 East to Rt. 26 North to Raystown Lake. Watch for Lake Access signs (brown info signs) for specific lake areas. Aitch Boat
Launch Or: Take Rout 26 North to Marklesburg. You will see a sign on the right that says Aitch Boat Launch. Once you pass this sign turn right onto Aitch Road and this will take you to the boat launch. Reminder: Everyone must have a PA fishing license with them the dayof the fishing trip. If you arrive and you still need a PA fishing license you can purchase one 24/7 at our local Wal-Mart before the fishing trip. Click here to James Creek Boat Launch From Rout 22, take Route 26 South. You will come to the first blinking yellow light at the Seven Points turnoff in Hesston. Keep going straight until you come to the second flashing yellow light on Route 26 South at Entriken. (The light is right in front of Raystown Performance Marine). At the flashing light you'll make a left turn onto Route 994. Go 1 4/10 miles on 994 and see the sign on the right. At the top of this sign it says Tatman run. There's a few other things on the sign, but it does say James Creek. After you pass this sign make the very first left hand turn. It's not very far at all past this sign. The road that you have turn onto is James Creek Road. Follow James Creek road for several miles. It's about a four minute drive. Just follow it straight and don't make any turns, and it will bring you straight to the parking lot and dock. Reminder: Everyone must have a PA fishing license with them the day of the fishing trip. Click here to Seven Points Boat Launch From Route 22 in Huntington, you will junction onto Route 26. Take Route 26 South. Go approximately seven miles until you come to a flashing light. The flashing light is at the Hesston intersection. Make a left hand turn at the Hesston intersection. This will put you onto Seven Points Road. (You are about five miles from a launch at this point) Go straight and make no turns. Once you get down near the Lake there are some signs that are very important to see. You will see a sign on your right that says Marina, Tour Boats, Restaurant and Fee Launching. When you see this sign it is where you would turn down into the Marina. Do NOT turn into the Marina! Just continue past this sign for approximately two blocks. You will see a sign on your right hand side that says Seven Points Boat Launch. Turn right into this parking lot.GPS: This is the address of the Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau. They are located on Seven Points Road, about 2 miles before the Seven Points Boat Launch. 6993 Seven Points Road, Suite 2, Hesston PA 16647. Once you arrive there just go past it and then go past the Seven Points Marina about two blocks and see the sign on the right for the Seven Points Boat Launch. Pull into the Seven Points Boat Launch and park 1/2 ways down the lot and walk down to the dock where our boat will be waiting for you.
