Stripers
METHODS: (At this time)
Stripers from 8 to 30 lb are being caught at this time.
Trolling live bait from 15 to 25 feet deep very slowly w/ an electric motor.
Trolling white 1/2 to 3/4 oz. bucktail jigs w/ a 6 inch white or pearl
ribbon
tail and 3 inch silver flutter spoons behind planner boards. Also trolling
white striper flies w/ a 6 inch white or pearl
ribbon tail with downriggers.
Lake Trout:
METHODS: (At this time)
The Lake Trout are hitting very good and we have been catching
lots of them from 5 to 12 lb. Lakers are being caught by downrigging
flutter spoons from 25 to 35 feet deep.
The striper fishing report will be updated on the 1st and 15th of each month
through out the
striper fishing season. Please check back often to get the most
accurate updates available!
